Story
OK....so I'm signed up to Team Finnan's Gift and going to do the 10km for the first time. Been almost 12years since I've done any consistent sport training, so this is going to be interesting. Skin in the game though...Finnan would have expected no less from me!
Please donate, or better still, join the team too!
Follow these simple steps to register & join our team:
- - Register for either the marathon, half-marathon, 10km, 5.7km or 3km walk at the Melbourne Marathon site
- - Fill out your participant details and, when it asks "who will you be fundraising for" select "another charity not listed here" and add ‘Finnans Gift’
- - When you get to the Team Information section click "join a team" and select "Team Finnan’s Gift"
- - Once you’ve registered then head over to the Team Finnan's Gift site and click on"Create Fundraising Page" at the top right hand side of the screen to set up your Team Finnan's Gift fundraising page. If you're participating as a group (ie: family, work team, etc.) select the team option so that each team member can set up their own fundraising page within your team
- - Once you’ve created your fundraising page please send it to your friends and family, even the broader community so they can cheer you on and make a donation of support. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and we encourage each team member to fundraise a minimum of $50 in exchange for their Team Finnan’s Gift T-Shirt.
- - Start training and hit the streets knowing you will be part of an amazing team looking to make Finnan's Gift history and help kids at the RCH! We’ll also start sending out more details nearer to the Melbourne Marathon Festival...

Finnan's Gift – supporting the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation
With your support, Finnan's Gift will help save and improve lives by providing tangible gifts to The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Whether it be a piece of critical equipment, much needed research, advanced training or greater support for patients and families, Finnan's Gift makes a difference while raising awareness of Congenital Heart Disease.
